Default Importing Contacts

I know I'm a month late in responding but I thought I'd let you know that
THIS is the solution I've been looking for for years! It's not an easy fix
for the average non-programmer, but if you feel comfortable creating forms,
it isn't a difficult solution.

Thank you!

Really? As dynamic as Outlook is, there's no way to batch covert all of
these contacts after the import? Or import them the way I want? Is there
a
view setting that I can use that will show the company name?

No. Those settings will not apply to imported Contacts.

I saw someone else post this question but they never answered the follow
up
questions!

I am importing a list of names and addresses into a contact folder.
The
list is a CSV file that includes company names. I have my default
"file
as"
set for Company (Last name, first name) but once the list is imported,
they
show up as Last Name, First Name. I have well over 2000 names and I'd
rather
not have to go one by one updating the contacts to my prefered display
settings.

Is there a way to import these using my default "file as" settings?
