Default OL 2003 Launches Notepad instead of Word

When we are done with the free marketing, I still have an issue. When I try
to change the HTML editor, Word is not an option. Even though I have Office
'03 installed, it is not an available option in the drop down.

Any advice?

Thanks

Give it some thought and hang on to my email and number. Consider it a
Coaching Raincheck.

Not really sure what I need coaching in. Except maybe a little LAX
pointers. But 315 is a bit of a trek for a 206 sorta guy.

You are amzazing!....You fixed both issues.

Word launched and then I was able to Create the Logo.

Secondly, I can now launch URL's from my email messages.

I am running IE 7.

I can't thank you enough.

I am launching a new Coaching business and wanted to start sending
professional looking emails.

Lets stay in touch.

p.s. If you want a complementary Coaching session its on me.

I have the boxes checked for it to launch Word for editing however it
still
launches Notepad.

Any suggestions?

Launches notepad when doing what? When editing the signature?

Yes, when editing the signature.

What I am trying to do is put a logo into my signature when sending
outgoing
emails. I cannot get it to work.

Well, on the one hand, I never really saw the need to put a picture in
the
signature. It just adds to bloat of an email, especially when you attach
it
to every single message.

But, that said, if you go to Tools - Options - Mail Format, what is set
for
Compose in this message format:?

If it is HTML, go to Control Panel - Internet Options - Programs and make
sure that Word is set as the HTML editor.

If it isn't HTML, change it to HTML.

Also, would you know when someone sends me an email with a URL, when I
click
on it "My Documents" window opens up instead of going to the web site?

In the same Internet Options, click the Reset Defaults (iirc) button and
see
if it fixes this. What browser/version are you running?
