Default How to Update Outlook 2007 Activities in ACT2008

Thanks,

You are probably right about going to ACT but never got anywhere with the
question I had. I will look into the info link you sent me. Very much
appreciated. First time user and looks like there is always someone out there
who has a better idea than I so why not look for help when you need it.

Thanks again.

The question is really one that should be addressed by the folks at Act
given that you're looking to update the Act database (this is not an Outlook
function). Thought there was an overall sync function that you could invoke
from Act (but could be mistaken since don't use Act).

That said, just doing a simple google search on the words "act outlook sync"
brings up what seems to be a whole slew of options - one of which is:
http://www.companionlink.com/products/doublelook.html that looks like it
will do everything you want/need in terms of Outlook/Act data syncing.

I have tried everything to get Outlook 2007 e-mails to create a history in
ACT2008.
I have also tried the Outlook Activities from the Tools Menu Bar in ACT
and
it doesn't appear to do it. I was sure it did before and I don't know
where
else to look. I have tried every Help message to try and find it but to no
avale.

Can anyone help me out as I am coping my notes from the e-mail plus
attachments if any to the History location in act each time I send
something
but that gets very time consuming and if I forget to it doesn't help me
when
I need to get a history on what I sent to a particular contact.

I work in a small company and work in sales so I am not in my office a lot
and do most of my work from my car and no one else to turn to since I am
the
only one who uses ACT Software.

Hope someone can help.
