Default adding hyperlinks to my WAB

Hi Mark,

This question was answered previously by a few people. You could use the
Contacts list where it is possible to double-click on an entry to open a new
message. See OE View | Layout

It would also be possible to create your own list of (mailto hyperlinks. I
use a Web page that is linked to my home page. These files are on the PC,
not on the Web. I can enter any information desired near the entries with
the entries indexed alphabetically.

Previous Answer

Almost Bob gave the answer (except I'd call the first menu after
right-clicking a context menu (or context-sensitive help menu) and the
second a fly-out menu.

It would be possible to create a HTML (Rich Text) message containing your
address links that could be saved in its own OE folder. The links would work
with one click from the Preview Pane or by opening the message. Another
method would be to create a (*.htm) file containing the addresses that would
open in Internet Explorer. This could be created using a Web-page editor
such as Word or FrontPage.

Steps for creating a Message with Address Links

1. From the OE File menu export the addresses as comma-separated values
file.
Choose only the first name, last name and address fields for export.
Tip: Browse to the save location during the process.

2. Drag the *.csv file into a new Notepad document.
3. Select All and paste into a new e-mail message using HTML (Rich Text)
format.
The subject could be "Address List" or other appropriate name. There isn't a
need to put an address on the To: line.
4. Edit the text as desired. Add a space before and after each address.
5. Close and send the message to the Drafts folder.
6. Drag the message from the Drafts folder a new Addresses folder.

The message can be edited further when open.
