Default Outlook 2007 Contacts versus Address Book

Thanks. So why is the "Outlook Address Book" even mentioned? You
don't add new addresses in there?

And to add what Gordon says, the Outlook Address Book is a service that,
when you click the To button in a new message window, will present to you
all of the contacts in your Contacts folders that have resolved electronic
addresses - either email or fax. In order for you to see ANY of your
contacts when you click To, the Outlook Address Book service must be
configured properly in your mail profile and each of the Contacts folders
you have that you want to be able to reference when choosing an address must
be enabled as address books.
