Outlook 2003

I click on New Appointment - the untitled appointment opens. Then I click on
any of the drop downs to change the date or time and from any of those I
can't change the day or time. When I move the mouse off of the current day
or time in an attempt to pick a future day or time the drop down closes. The
only way I can change the day or time is to type the change directly in the
box. Any ideas? I've reloaded Outlook and this problem still exist.

Don't know if it's the same related thing or not but I can't delete a
recurring appointment. I click on one of the instances and I don't get a
dialog asking 'delete this appointment or delete the series'. Thank you,
