Default e-mails truncated

Frank,

Support.microsoft.com/kb/887797 states a pre-req
of KB823353. However, that KB seems to relate
to OE 6 SP1. I'm at OE 6 SP2. Do you see anything
there that indicate that there are NO PRE-REQ's for
997797 with OE 6 SP2?

Thanks,
Bill

I have a client whose OE e-mails are being
truncated. Like the last packet doesn't get
through, or at least that's the way it appears.

Any known causes of such a situation?

TML format e-mail gets truncated
After you install Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2), the body text of
HTML-based e-mail messages that are sent from Outlook Express may be
truncated and may be missing data. This problem may occur if the e-mail
message contains non-ASCII characters, such as Chinese characters. For a
fix, see: Outlook Express for Windows update available

McAfee is not a very good idea with OE.
