If they are from an AOL or Compuserve user, (some other servers are changing
too), they may be layered as many times as it has been forwarded. When you
open an attachment and only see a blank page, keep putting the cursor on the
text in the attachment line / Right click / Open. Keep doing this and you'll
eventually get to the original attachment and be able to view it.

Now that you finally have it opened, click Forward. Only the names and
addresses from the original message should be showing. Simply highlight all
of them with the cursor and then delete.
