Default How do I make "today" more visible in Monthly View?

What - how?

I already tried this:

On the Tools menu = click Options = and then click Calendar Options
= Background color

...But that only changes the *background* colour. (e.g. white/cream/
pale green etc.) but it does
NOT change Today's colour !

Microsoft Help says:
The color you choose is applied to Day and Work Week views. Week and Month views
use system background colors, which by default, are gray and white.

So do I need to change some SYSTEM colours somewhere?

| Hi
|
| How do I make "today" more visible in Monthly View?
|
| For some reason on my PC today is only *flagged with a dull grey
| colour.
| Whereas on my colleague's PC today's date is a nice bright Orange
| colour.
|
| How can I reset it?
|
| With thanks
