Default File attachment

When you attach a file, you must click the Attach icon on the Toolbar, then
Browse to the Folder containing the file and select that file. You say that
works. How else did you expect to be able to attach a file?

I just do not understand what you are hoping to do and your reply is not
very helpful.

I am trying to select one file from the folder and it does not let me do
that. When I browse to the directory I am able to attach the file. I don't
want to attach folder to the email just one file.

You cannot attach a folder to an email message, only a single file.
Either
your system is corrupted or you are confusing the issue. Please try
again
and then explain exactly what you are doing, what error you encounter,
and
whether or not you are using any antivirus program to scan incoming and
outgoing mail.

I have XP PC with OE 6 and on the desktop folder that has art files.
When
try
to attach a file from this folder to email it attaches the whole folder
without giving me the option to select a file from it. How do I fix
this
problem

Thanks
