In Outlook Express there is a feature known as 'nicknames' where I can assign a nickname to my email address, say 'stud'. Then, every time I type 'stud' in the 'To' box, it resolves to my email address.

I can't seem to find this feature in Outlook XP. The address book does have a field called 'Nickname', but when I enter a nickname for a contact, then enter that nickname in the 'To' box and press CTRL+K all I get is "Microsoft Outlook does not recognize..." What am I doing wrong?
