Default outlook 2000 requirements

G'Day Peter,

You don't say what version of Windows, but 128MB sounds a bit light.

Your CPU speed is also a bit slow.

256MB will make a difference, but don't expect a miracle.

It would probably be better to wait until you can see your way to upgrading
to perhaps a 2GHz/512MB PC - perhaps on eBay.

I'm running a pentium 667mhz w/ 128mb ram. When we open outlook 2000
it takes a long time to open, about 5 to 10 minutes while we wait to
download 1 message and look at other message. I'm thinking of adding
an extra 256mb but its so slow I don't think it'll help much.
Should I get the extra 256mb or is it not going to make that much
difference?

Thanks,
Pete
