Nicknames
Thanks for answering.
So that means that Outlook XP does not have a similar nicknames feature? If so, perhaps I could work around that by putting the person's nickname in the 'Full Name' field of the Contact properties and the person's real name in the 'Display as' field.

Outlook doesn't support resolving nicknames in that field.

In Outlook Express there is a feature known as 'nicknames' where I can
assign a nickname to my email address, say 'stud'. Then, every time I type
'stud' in the 'To' box, it resolves to my email address.
I can't seem to find this feature in Outlook XP. The address book does
have a field called 'Nickname', but when I enter a nickname for a contact,
then enter that nickname in the 'To' box and press CTRL+K all I get is
"Microsoft Outlook does not recognize..." What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for your help.
