and Nancy.wab 1091 kb type:

I am assuming all of your OE data is in the
default location.
1. Enable "Show Hidden Files and Folders" =
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tuto...utorial62.html
2. Open a (Windows) Explorer to C:\Documents and
Settings\[username]\Application
Data\Microsoft\Address Book =this folder
3. Does this folder contain a file with a WAB~
extension (e.g., BUBEY.WAB~)?
Don't *do* anything with it yet, just tell me if
it's there.

That's my problem PA Bear. The phone does sync
with OE but it's bringing
across the "lost info" not the current info I
wanted to use. So I figured that
the lost groups from the address book are
somewhere on my hard drive.
I just know how to look for them. And no, I
know
I'm bad, I didn't back
up the address book. Any more ideas ?
P.S.... I'm a she !
Thanks Bubey (and that's my grandmother name)

How can he restore the "sub-group" from the WAB
backup (WAB~ file) to his
Address Book, Michael?
If PDA-Sync will, in fact, synchronize with
(Windows) Address Book, will the
sync include the "sub-groups"?

OE makes a backup WAB file. The backup might
still have your data.

I've really done it this time.............
I was cleaning up my Outlook Express and
accidentally deleted
my sub-group addresses where I kept them filed
by
type. I
didn't even realize I did it until I opened OE
again and they
were gone.
I got a new cell phone which has PDA-Sync on
it
and in trying
to bring across my contacts from Outlook
Express,
but it brought
those "lost" contacts. Where can I find those
lost group addresses
and restore them so I can back them up and
then
try bring the
1st level contacts that I want on the cell
phone.
IE 6.00.2900.2180
OS: Win XP Sp2
Thanks in advance for the help !
