Default Getting contact list used for e-mail address

"That didn't work" tells us nothing.
What did you do and what happened? Did you restart Outlook?
These are the instructions that work for everyone else:

I can see my contact list in the left pain but when I open a new e-mail and
click To: I do not see any of my contacts. I have looked at more than a
few
listings concerning this issue but still can't get it to work. I replaced
my
hard drive and copied the old pst file over the new pst file. I am using
Outlook 2003. I tried to right click on the contact list select
properties,
select Outlook Address Book tab and check "Show this folder as an e-mail
Address Book" but that didn't work. I then tried going to Toolse-mail
accountadd new directorynextAdditional Address booknextOutlook
Address
Booknext but get "account or directory already exists" Any other ideas?
