Viewing downloaded images in Outlook
Thanks Russ!

You can't. By design, Outlook does not display attached images inline.
Outlook is a business application. Exchange Administrators consider inline
display a security issue and don't want it.
Outlook only shows images inline with HTML mail items or RTF mail items
with OLE embedded images. Images in plain text mail items only show as
attachments (that you must open separately).

Using Outlook 2003, Windows XP (all current updates installed)
At times I receive multiple images from a trusted source that I need to
review (mostly jpg's). The jpg's show as file names in the header under
attachments. I then double click on them and view them in my default
images program (Irfanview). I have to exit the images program then
double click on the next image file name etc., etc., etc.
I'm told it is unsafe to view the images all at once in the body of the
text message in HTML formats so my question is: How can I view these
images without having to exit my image program then clicking on the next
file again and again?
Should I be using another image program that could extract all of the
images from an Outlook email and if so, what image program can accomplish
this?
Any other solution would appreciated because I'm probably missing a
solution that is a click away. I've already "Googled" and went through
the helps files and can't find the answer.
Thanks.
