When I click on this link which I provided.....
On the Web:
http://www.microsoft.com/communities...xp=&sloc=en-us
It opens to the Outlook General Discussion newsgroup with the current posts,
not a search. That is not the same link you just posted.

I just gave you all the choices. Since you're using the Web interface to
post,
click on the last link I gave you.
http://www.microsoft.com/communities...98b&sloc=en-us
What are you trying to show her there?
The only clickable thing you give (after "On the web:")
shows up as a search.
Were trying to get her to drill down in the category list to the Outlook
node?
Unfortunately you need to point at a specific newsgroup within that node
item
in order for someone else to see it as open.
http://www.microsoft.com/communities...&lang=en&cr=US
Alternatively, if you cross-post to your suggested target, a web poster
can just click on the newsgroup name in the header of your post
and use it to switch to that newsgroup.
E.g., in OE just press: Alt-T,N c.o k.g Alt-s,Alt-A,Enter
(Already done. eg)
Then, if the poster is lucky and the question is not a FAQ
or already multi-posted, the answer may be given in a reply
to your cross-post too. ; )

my
choices.

Hi. I work in a small office, where on Wed nights we do our auto
downloads
and then a few hour later our backups. This am our official email -
outlook
- xp pro will receive emails but not send. I checked all the
settings
and
they are at 110 and 25 - all settings are right but no ability to
send.
Get
a failed message that says connected but no response. called home
office -
server is up and working. Last time this happened symantec
protection
11.0
was changing the 25 to 110 - but tech support fixed it my locking the
110
and
25 in the Symantec settings. so anyone else having this issue? I
will
send
the exact message #s in about 15 minutes when I can get back on that
machine.
thank you. cath
