outlook express opening Windows xp problem with url

Hi, Question please, when I use Outlook Express and click on a url, the
page
for the internet opens up but the url is not carried over into the small
window at the top of the screen. I ran this question on the Micorsoft
general blog and tried the following application in the run window:
regsvr32 urlmon.dll
regsvr32 mshtml.dll
regsvr32 shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 browseui.dll
regsvr32 msjava.dll (NB Java may not be installed on your computer and you
may receive an error)
As expected I got the error message and the system will still not work.
Anyone on here have any ideas?
