How do I make "Search In All Mail Folders" actually search all of them?
That was what I was afraid of. In fact, I can get the same list from the
"Choose Folders..." entry at the bottom of the regular Search In drop-down
list. I was hoping for better. I don't understand why Microsoft would call
an option "All Mail Folders" when it doesn't mean that. Oh well...
Thanks for your prompt and informative reply nonetheless.
Cheers,
Ken

You will need to use Advanced Find for that. There is the option you can
check to search all sub-folders.

| Sorry for forgetting this...
|
| Outlook 2003, Windows XP Pro.
|
| I'm just wanting to use the built-in find (Ctrl-E) that comes with
| Outlook, not a desktop search. I have many folders... some are
| subfolders of the inbox and some are not.
|
| Thanks,

|| Outlook version? What search engine are you using? WDS? GDS?
