Default Phone List Sorting

If you have your cursor in one contact in Phone List view and press the
letter for the contact you want, it should jump to that letter. However,
you must have your cursor active in a contact for this to work.

After furious head scratching, shooter27 asked:

| When I am in the "Phone List" view vs. the Address Card view, you
| lose the quick A-Z roller dex listing on the side to quickly jump to
| the first letter of the contact group. On one of my computers at
| work, when I am using Phone List View and just type a letter, it will
| automatically jump to that start of that group of contacts. However
| on my other computer, that shortcut function does not work and I can
| not figure out which setting is allowing the shortcut feature to be
| activated. Both systems are running Outlook 2003.

| Any help?
