Default how do I repair the outlook reminder file?

I'm running Outlook 2007 on Windows Vista Business Edition. When I
start Outlook I get the message, "There was a problem reading one or
more of your reminders. Your reminders may not display properly."

The reminders do show up in the calendar, but do not pop up 15
minutes prior to their time.

This problem was not repaired by either the /resetfolders or
/cleanreminders switches. There does not appear to be an scanpst.exe
inbox repair tool in Vista or Outlook 2007. Starting in safe mode
produces the same error.

SCANPST.EXE is located in %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\Office12

Strange note: when I exported the pst file for use on an older laptop,
running XP and Outlook 2007, while this one was being repaired, the
pst file and reminders worked fine.

Exporting and importing always loses data. Perhaps the error-causing data
was "lost" as well. Have you tried creating a new mail profile to see if
that helps?
