You suggest reinstalling - why?...all I wish to know is if its best to

....I have no problems as LinkScanner isn't active at the moment on my pc.
However a friend who installed V8 at the same time as me and in the same
manner ie not the custom installation does have LinkScanner ticked as active
and has no apparent problems...no slowing down..etc. ....I've read the AVG
notes and it seems a good thing and so am considering its activation...just
trying to meet up with anyone who might confirm its usefulness' or
otherwise. Thanks
