Default setting up outlook 2002 for email

It depends on the location of the Comcast service.

What type of authentication does Comcast require? If I recall correctly,
outlook 2002 does not offer a lot of authentication options. Many servers
require you to log into the server to send but outlook 2002 doesn't have
that option - so you need to check mail (to log you in) then send within
10 min, before authentication expires.

I seem to recall something in the Outlook groups (or maybe Windows Mail)
that Comcast is now moving users to port 563 or something like that, but are
not telling their users! (I'm not a Comcast user so the details are
hazy....)
