Default Outlook 2007: RSS Feeds

I'm an Outlook expert so I have no idea how to get them out of IE. g But
it’s a basic function of every RSS reader, so there has to be a way.

Ok after a few minutes of looking around... in IE7, click the little Add to
Favorites star on the left of the tabs. One on the options is Import and
Export... choose Export Feeds. (Silly me expected to see it on the Tools
menu.)

In Outlook, right click on the RSS Feeds folder and choose Import. Tools,
Options, Other tab, Advanced to not share the feed list with IE.

Understood on the IE-OL not working well together, however, how do I
export
"the opml" from IE to OL?

They are supposed to work together. But I found they don't work well
together at this time.

Yes, I would break the sharing - as for copy and paste, export the opml
from
IE, remove all the RSS folder from OL them import the opml into OL. No
need
to copy and paste individual lines.

Thanks for the response. Just so I'm clear, should I stop the feeds in
IE7
&
copy & paste the feed URLs directly into Outlook? I thought IE7 &
Outlook
worked together.

RSS is outlook is buggy. it sounds like you are doing it correctly,
although
I think it's buggier if you share feeds, so I only use them in outlook
and
export the opml so I have it when I need to rebuild the feeds.

After yet another Vista Ultimate reinstall my RSS feeds need to be
reconfigured again. I've tried setting up through IE7 & by manually
copying &
pasting the feed URL into the feed's properties box w/in Outlook.
I'm
obviously doing something wrong as the feeds are not downloading
automatically. If I open up a feed's properties then close it back I
get
downloads. Could someone point
me to a definitive source as how to easily reconfigure RSS feeds in
Outlook?
Thanks.
