Problem resolved.
USB wireless network adaptor I was trying out kept dropping signal as it
tried to access networks with a regular cat 5 connection still in place.
IE was apparently trying to pick information from both sources and
refreshing the screen (dual network feed)
Once I locked the wireless into WPA it no longer dropped connection. I use
one machine as a bridge to WAN so dual feed is useful with the wireless.
I have over 25 yrs in Desktop, Small Business Network , Data Source
Analysis, ETC. and had already checked my HJ log myself "expert review"
(along with a multitude of other options) but thanks for the offer..
I had suspected a nasty but already ruled it out in favour of a tech issue
(which it appears to be as it only affects IE not other browsers)
With everyone going to wirelesss It may be a problem you see again.
