Default Outlook Address Book e-mails column is empty

I have Outlook 2002 SP3, working on Windows XP.
I had to use the "Inbox Repair Tool", after my "Personal Folders" wouldn't
open. It solved the problem, however a new problem appeared: in the Address
Book all the e-mail addresses column is blank (the "Name" and "Dispaly Name"
column do appear correctly).
Under "Contacts" all seems OK (does show the e-mail addresses) however, when
I double-click a contact the V-card that opens has the e-mail address and
"display as" fields blank.
How can I recover my address book so that I can use it?
