Default Can't send contact (list) as an attachment

Thanks Brian,

I had thought of that. I tried setting all my format defaults to both HTML
and Plain Text and restarted Outlook each time. None of it worked. If I sent
a single contact in VCF format it came though OK and can be immediately add
to my contacts. A List however came though as a flat text file even when
told to use VCF.

I also thought it had something to do with .MSG file format, but when saving
a true message as .MSG file it can be sent without difficulty. This problem
seems to be restricted to Contact and List objects.

An additional question: Is it Outlook or Exchange that is failing here?

Sounds like you're sending a Rich Text format message to the outside.
Instead, try attaching the contact as a vCard to a plain text or HTML
message.
