The active stationery groups were migrated to a Microsoft-hosted private
newsserver several years ago. Try posting there.

The private server can be accessed using the following settings in a new
News account:

Server: privatenews.microsoft.com
Account Name: privatenews\stationery
Password: stationery

The only reason it's on a private server is that Microsoft does not allow
posting of messages larger than 100 KB to pubic newsgroups. Since many
stationeries are often much larger, since they include multiple images
and
sound files, the use of a private newsgroups was set up to allow them to
continue with their creations.

Please excuse me for posting here but I thought I might cover more
people
in
this newsgroups as the stationery newsgroup seems to have a rather
limited
use.

A friend of mine says that a couple of years back they found a website
that
showed them how to make basic stationery for OE including things like
scrolling. Is there something out there or does this type of thing
involve
coding and scripting etc.

TIA
