error (0x800CCC92)
I too am having this same issue.
I am a Network Engineer/ Exchange engineer, I feel that this problem must of
come frome some extrenal source. Malware or a Virus or something, too many
users are getting the identical error. I have two machines on a Switch Both
machines were sending and recieving just fine, I then move my laptop for a
few hrs. when I came back I had the error on the desktop, but not on the
laptop.
The strange thing is that when I killed the user profile and recreated my
account information, I then Did a test, the test was sucessful, however the
test message was not recieved in Outlook 2k3.
Thank god it is on personal pc and not a clients.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

Comcast's mail server. If I login via the test button, the login is
successful. If I login to my email account via the Comcast webpage, I can
gain access with no problem. I have deleted my profile several times. I
have deleted the "PSSP" entry in the registry several times. What gives? I
keep getting prompted to add password to email login. with the above
mentioned error as the result. Has anybody experienced this issue before?
If so, please share your resolution with me. Any/All suggestions are
welcomed. I don't think the issue is with OL 2K3, but, with WinXP's
registry. I just resolved the issue of the "send/receive" button not
working. Again, if I use the test option in email acct. setup, the test
passes.
