Default How come my email is stuck in my outbox?

William, I did not change any settings...and, yes, I am on line....I have
a
cable hookup (comcast). I can receive email but when I send it goes right
to
the outbox and stays there. If I open the outbox it will sit on top of
the
list (in bold letters) and then it will change to italics and move to the
bottom of the list.

1) are you online at the time?
2) check your account settings? outbound smtp server is reachable?

I have Outlook 2007. My emails are hung up in the Outbox. I know have
20
emails that I tried to send that are still there....I can delete them
but
any
email I send gets hung up there...?????

I had a problem with this and found there was something not right in the way
the addresses were put into the to/cc/bcc fields by my contacts (in Vista).
When manually entering email addresses I no longer had any emails stuck in
the outbox.
