Default Outlook 2007

Have you verified you are not actually losing connectivity to your network?
Do you have managed network switch to perform some monitoring? Have you
checked your Event Log on your computer for any related errors? Sounds to
me that your computer is losing connectivity to your network which is the
reason why Outlook is asking for credentials.

Friend,

I'm using Outlook 2007 to connect to Exchange 2003. Everything is working
well for the most part but for some reason Outlook periodically asks me
for my username/password. The problem persists even when I click the
"remember username/password" checkbox.

I don't understand why this is happening. Outlook and Exchange are both on
the same LAN so it's not like I'm losing my connection or anything. What's
causing this? It usually happens if Outlook has been open but inactive for
a while and I try to do something like drag an email into a folder or
manage my calendar. Everything works well after entering my
username/password but then in a few hours it'll ask again. This has become
so irritating that I'm considering ditching Exchange and reverting back to
POP3 accounts.

It should be noted that I did follow the recommendation of going to
ToolsAccountsMy Exchange AccountMore Settings and selecting
"Manually Control Connection State" and "Connect with the Network." This
helped some. The popups don't appears as frequently as they used to but
they still appear enough to make the Outlook/Exchange combo unworkable for
me.

What else can I try?

Thanks.
