Default how do you turn off the out of office reply?

Are you using Outlook with Exchange server or with a POP3 account?

Did you delete the rule you created?

I managed to turn on out of office through the rules secton. When i
returned
I disabled the rule but it did not go off. Then I erased the word doc file
for out of office letter, it still was there. I first got frustrated with
the
bad experience I had with outlook express, not I really hate the full
version
of outlook. Can anyone help, surely microsoft has no viable answers.
