Suggest you clarify your post since no current versions and no recent
versions and hardly any old versions of Outlook used a PAB.
You might want to define what you mean by the "Address search tool." That
could mean anything.

tool will include the preceding comma into the search parameters when
searching inputs on the To, CC, or BCC lines which prevents what should be
easily looked up name to address associations from occurring and requiring
the sender to open the PAB and do the search there.
Suggest you alter the code to ignor preceding spaces and punctuation
characters in the search function.
