Default Families

You could use the Company field for their surname. then at least they seem
to be from the one place. Group by Company may also be helpful.

I realize that Outlook is created more along the lines of "business"
contacts, but one of my biggest frustrations with Outlook is personal
contacts. Is there a way to list husband, wife, and children as one
contact?

I would like to have a family listed as the husband and wife but be
able to see include the children and their birthdays.

Also, what about separate emails for husband and wife - and kids for
that matter?

I've tried the listing as the husband adding the spouse, etc. but there
doesn't seem to be a good way to easily organize a family as one
contact.

For now, I have separate contacts for each person but that is crazy
when I want to do a mail-merge for letters, etc.

It would also be cool to be able to have a picture of the person next
to their name.

Is there maybe a different software program that anyone is aware of
that may be more toward my needs?

THANKS!
