Default Multiple Identities: Outlook

Be aware that you can't switch Profiles in Outlook like you can identities
in OE. Outlook has to be closed to switch to a different profile...

As an FYI, the only difference between OE and Outlook when switching
profiles is how you do it - OE includes a shortcut that closes OE and
reopens with the new identity (a lot of people think it just loads the new
identity without exiting and restarting). You have to close Outlook
yourself - or you could use a batch or utility to close it and load a new
profile for you.

Is there a way to create multiple identities in Outlook? Every search
result I've read talks about only doing so in Outlook Express.

Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Outlook doesn't use identities - it uses Profiles. To create a new Profile
do Control panel-Mail-Show Profiles-Add. Be aware that you can't switch
Profiles in Outlook like you can identities in OE. Outlook has to be
closed to switch to a different profile...
