How do I set up outlook 2000 for multiple users
That works ok on my win 2k computer...but when I go to the XP computer and
choose Control PanelMail I do not get the same window next. On the win2k
computer I get a window that says "Pro's Email Properties" and has a button
for "show profiles" but on the XP computer I get a window that says
"Internet Accounts" and has no button for "Show Profiles" That window does
allow me to set up other e-mail accounts and choose which is to be the
default, but not to view them separately

It usually best to setup seperate users but you should be able to get
Outlook to prompt for MAPI profiles he Control Panel Mail Show
Profiles. Select the 'Prompt' option.

I have Outlook 2000 set up on one computer with Win 2k Professional. I
have
it set up to prompt for which of three users to start and then it opens up
the appropriate pst file and user profile.
I have just bought a new laptop with win XP and can't duplicate that
functionality. It seems only to offer me the option of setting up
different
xp users each with their own outlook profile, which requires that I log
off
the current user and go to the second user in order to check that mail.
Am I
doing something wrong? or is this a funtion of XP?
Also, if it is a function of XP, would a more current version of Outlook
allow me the functionality of prompting for a user profile when I start
Outlook?
