I'm using 2003, but if 2007 would allow it, I would upgrade.
Here is is:
There is calendar called "calendar" For internal reasons I keep a separate
calendar called rick's calendar. I don't use the default one. I'd like
Outlook to open rick's calendar instead of calendar, or have some macro or
something that automatically switches it.

In what manner? As the real default where new events are added if you create
them when not in the calendar folder or just as the start page when you open
outlook?
What version of outlook?
The default calendar is the one in your default message store - where all
new pop and exchange messages are stored. You can change it, but it will
effect more than the calendar. It can be the MSN/Outlook connector message
store.
In newer versions of outlook you can select almost any folder as the start
page when outlook first opens - tools, options, other, advanced.

Is there a way to either change my default calendar to one other than
"Calendar" or to run a macro or something that switches it every time I
open
Outlook?
