I deleted it and rebooted and hey presto its all fine.
Thanks for your help.

What others?
No Accounts in Tools drop-down box:
Go to Start | Run and type in:
regedit
Click OK and locate this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Outlook Express
On the right-hand side of the page, double click: *No modify accts*
value.
{If this value does not exist, on the Edit menu, click DWORD Value. Type:
No
modify accts, and press Enter to save the name}.
Change the setting of this value from 1 to 0, click OK.
That should put it back in the drop-down box.
If you have any problems with those instructions, this is a direct
registry
modification download that will also put it back:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs...modifyundo.reg
If neither fix works, /and/ you already had the *No Modify Accts* value
in
the registry, delete it and reboot. If Accounts is back, good. If not,
recreate the *No Modify Accts* value as per above.
And if you still find it missing:
Restart the computer. Keep tapping the F8 key until the Windows Startup
menu
appears. Choose "Safe Mode with Networking" and press Enter.
Click Start | Run and type in:
MSIMN.EXE
Click OK.
On the open window, click Tools. Does Accounts show now? Reboot in normal
mode and it should still be there.

I am unable to change or add accounts to OE6 because the "Accounts" tab
has
disapeared from the "Tools" menu. Several of the other tabs from this
menu
have also disapeared.
Any Ideas?
