There is nothing to fix - fax # are legitimate electronic addresses.

they are more expensive.

Thanks, Diane. Just wondering how hard it would be to incorporate a fix
for
this problem within Outlook itself. Seems like it could be a simple
option
in one of the tabs in "Customize" or "Options" menues. Having to go back
and
add a letter or the word "fax" to every person in my "Contacts" folder, or
pay someone else $25 for yet another windows-fix application is just one
more
annoying problem with being a Windows user. I think I'll see if I can get
Steve Jobs on the phone....

When I'm selecting names for a distribution list, I have the person's

the fax number. How do I get rid of the fax number leaving just the one
name
and one email address per person?
