I was afraid these were the answers. Everything I'd read told me so but I
had to ask. Thanks for the bad news! ;-)
I'm trying to move the info from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003 and it is NOT
trivial!

1) Nope
2) Uninstall any previous version of Outlook first. Only 1 version of
Outlook can exist on 1 machine at a time.

I have Exchange 5.5 (please, no comments!). We've been using Office 2003
with Outlook 2003. Installed Office 2007 on new machines, and Office 2007
apparently won't work with Exchange 5.5. On a test machine I uninstalled
Outlook 2007 and installed Outlook 2003. It works with Ex 5.5 as one
might
guess. Rest of Office 2007 still there.
1) Any way of making/getting Outlook 2007 to use Exchange 5.5? (Other than
a
later version of Ex.?)
2) When I try to again install Outlook 2007 from add/remove programs or
the
Office CD it reports Outlook at "unavailable" and no options for
installing.
No options for having both versions installed that I can see.
Any help would be appreciated so I can get the users off my back!
