Default missing files & folder after importing pst file

Why are you importing a native Outlook file into Outlook? Do you import Word files into a new version of Word??

Copy the .pst file from the old PC to the new one and use File-Open-Outlook Data File from within Outlook.

After furious head scratching, Bucky asked:

| I just added a new pc to sbs 2003 network, I also installed OL 2007
| on a new machine as well as the existing pc's on the network. The
| problem is after installing OL 2007 I'm not able to see my pst file
| information that I imported back into outlook 2007. When I installed
| outlook it automatically picked up the exchange mailbox. So I then
| imported the PST file from the old PC to the new PC, while importing
| it looks like it is doing the import but when it is finished I don't
| see any of the files & or folders
