Basically its if I send a message of any significant size such as a 100k
or 200k text or graphic it starts to send but aborts after 20 or so %.
Totally unpredictable, may send 1.5mb jpg then fail on 40K jpg.
Most of the better known experts, my isp, phone co,and new modem have
tried to fix it but all we came up with was a workaround "new id" which
fixes it from hours to months then it reoccurs. Dozens of messages on this
subject.

What is the problem that's causing you to generate new identities
periodically?




Email scanning should be turned off in any anti-virus. Also exclude EML
files from the scan. It provides no protection not provided by the regular
resident protection.
Besides that, McAfee and Norton are not compatible with Windows Mail and
Outlook Express and should be uninstalled. The latest version of Trend's
anti-virus seems to be causing problems too.
