Also, HKEY_USERS\jdj\Software\Clients\Mail is set with TB as the default. So
those two keys are set with TB as default mail client. And HKEY_CURRENT USER
same location. But the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Clients\Mail is set with
OE as the default. Sorry for the messed up post here.

Whoops! I meant I had FF and OE running and visa versa also.
Not [that is I had FF and TB running]

Ok, I check this and it is set as the default. I do not have Outlook
only
OEv.6.
An interesting side note. I have had FF2.x and TBx as default in the
past
and also had inter changed them, that is I had FF and TB running and no
problems. This problem has been around for awhile like 2004 or 5. I just
tried to live with it. Also, I found in the registry under current user
that
TB was the default client on my username. Could this be the problem? I
know
that the article states local machine, but it might be a registry
problem
like that. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Clients\Mail
