Outlook hangs every time I start it

I have just upgraded to Office 07 from Office 03.
Whenever I start Outlook 07, it hangs (Not Responding) as soon as it has
loaded up my previous collection of e-mails. I cannot get it to do
anything
except close it using the Task Manager.
I have tried reinstalling Outlook 03 to re-open the PST file, but that
refuses to start as well, claiming one of the DLL files is corrupted.
Any suggestions? I have been trying to remove my old PST file - but I
cannot
find it anywhere!
