deleting messages
where is the "message store folder"?

creating new folders, and move the messages into those new folders, then
close Outlook Express, and use Windows Explorer (WinKey+E) to navigate to
the message store folder and find and delete the DBX files with the names

the problem folders. You can also try a compact of your message store

working offline since that can often repair "minor" corruption in the DBX
files in the store.
