Default Missing files + folders after importing pst file

I imported the existing 361 MB pst file as follows:

Outlook was open, I opended Tab "File", "Import and Export", Import from
another program", "Personal File Folder (pst)". I selected the path to the
361 MB pst file. I selected "do not import duplicate files". It did not copy
any emails except a few in the deleted folder. After that I closed Outlook
and noticed that the original file date has been updated but file size was
still 361 MB. When I select in Outlook under properties the folder sizes it
shows only about 3 MB.

After that I tried copying ad replacing the 361 MB pst file with the regular
file. But no change. I also tried opening the file through the Data File
Management tab, but it only imports the few emails in the Deleted Folder.

I hope this helps.

The file size of the pst file is 361 MB. Does this help? Thanks.

news Thanks for your email. I tried open it, as you indicated - Should have
mentioned it in my email - but it shows again only the few emails in
the
deleted file. No Inbox emails, no subfolders and no Sent files.

Do you have any other recommendations?

What's the size of the pst file that you have saved from the other HDD?

How did you save it (i.e. was Outlook closed) in the first place, and have
you imported it at some stage?
