Why not just change the permissions of the rest of the organisation so
people cannot see any of the Executive's appintment details?
Are you assuming that everyone can see the details of the Exec's
appointments? Unless the settings are set that way, that is not what
happens.

To make it private for the organizer, create a custom form with the
privacy flag set. Publish it and set it as the default form. It will be
set to private for the attendees too.
