Outlook 2007 Distribution List Problem

So...I'm having the same problem with my list. I've left the Email 1
blank
and entered addresses in to the email 2 because that's where iPhone has
assigned the home email. So I know that the emails listed in email 2 work
because I can click on it from my contact page and send email....but it
won't
show up as a valid entry in my standard outlook "address book". I keep
seeing "unresolved address" mentioned in this thread.....the email works
through the contact list, so how does that make it unresolved? and of
course
how do i get the addresses that are in the contact to appear in the
address
book? people with email 1 and email 2 entries in contacts appear as they
should with seperate line entries in the address book for each email.
I just checked and the presence or absence of E-mail makes no difference in
whether or not E-mail1 and E-mail2 show in the address book. In fact, I can
also have E-mail and E-mail1 blank and E-mail2 will still show.
By resolved, I mean that the mail addresses will appear underlines when you
open the contact record. Resolved means that Outlook has recognized them as
valid addresses and has stored them properly in the record. Importing and
synching can leave an address unresolved.
Open the contact in question and select the E-mail1 or E-mail2 value. Click
so that the text insertion cursor is at the end of the address and the
address is NOT highlighted. Press Ctrl-K. Save the contact. Now open the
Address Book interface and see if the contact appears.
