Good suggestion. Actually a reformat is what I would normally do, but I
didn't have access to the XP disk or the drivers disk.

Did the computer come with install disks, or restore disks (many OEM
manufacturers shipped these, instead)? Just a suggestion; but, when I set
up
a used computer, I like to set it up as "new", using such disks.
