If so, fix the time in outlook so
they are correct, export to Excel format, correct the time zone and edit the
excel sheet to remove the events you don't need to import (like the
recurring events which are now single events). When finished, import it.


Unfortunately I have a lot of recurring appointments so this results in
a significant loss of data as Outlook fails to export recurring events,
and instead creates single events that cover a limited time period.
